Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke and his husband Gareth are currently in Cyprus, eagerly awaiting the result of their second round of IVF.
The couple flew out with their surrogate in secret and had the embryo implanted on Friday, with Ollie saying that the pair ‘have to stay positive’ in light of their devastation after their first unsuccessful IVF attempt in July.
Speaking to The Sun, Ollie explained: ‘Our surrogate has had an embryo placed inside her today. It’s going to be a long two weeks until we find out, but basically we just have to relax and let nature do its thing.’
‘Hopefully it will be snuggled up, very happy, sticking nicely and growing.’
The 34-year-old emphasised that he and Gareth were ‘look[ing] forward to getting the result we want’.
‘We had to sit there and smile at the hospital and hope it’s all going to be great – but who knows what will happen.

‘It’s all encapsulating. It’s a big, big deal. It takes over you.’
The Lockes had previously opened up about having ‘very high expectations’ the first time around, before having to come to terms with the IVF’s failure.
Ollie confirmed to The Sun that their IVF journey had not been an easy process for either himself or his business and brand consultant husband but knew that they would be ‘amazing parents’.

The star also shared that it had been ‘heartbreaking’ and ‘incredibly difficult’ for them to film and have televised the moment their surrogate told them that the first round had been unsuccessful in the summer, but that it had ultimately – and ‘weirdly’ – brought them ‘closer together’.

The couple, who first met over a decade ago and began dating in 2018, tied the knot at London’s Natural History Museum last year in front of 13 guests including bridesmaids Binky Felstead and Olivia Bentley, who both also starred in Made In Chelsea.
The pair organised the event with 48 hours’ notice before the second national lockdown began in England in early November.
