Strictly’s Motsi Mabuse slams ‘crazy conspiracy theories’ as fans claim show is fixed after spotting ‘telltale clue’

STRICTLY Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse has slammed “crazy conspiracy theories” as fans claim a comment she made during Sunday’s results show was a “telltale clue” that the series is “fixed”.

Judi Love was sent home after landing in the dance-off for the third time, this time up against Olympian Adam Peaty and his pro partner Katya Jones.

Critiquing the performances as she cast her vote last night, Motsi shared: “Well, I have to say that dance-off was really great. The decision was made for me, so I have to say that the couple I will be saving is Adam and Katya.”

Viewers flocked to social media to accuse the 40-year-old star of making an epic blunder as conspiracy theorists picked up on her saying “the decision was made for me”.

Questioning who exactly had made that decision for the judge, Twitter went into meltdown – but Motsi has now taken to her own page to clarify what she meant.

She retweeted one fan who’d written: “I’m sure @MOTSI_MABUSE will come to regret saying ‘the decision was made for me…’ when she realises that some people will probably take that literally ”

Motsi added: “100%! What was so obvious to me, because the mistakes were so clear!! In times of some crazy conspiracy theories…. lol.”

The latest fix scandal came as 2004 finalist Julian Clary claimed producers kicked out popular celebs before the final show.

The comic told The Times that bosses had been left disappointed when he made the final all those years ago, explaining: “It was all done on the public vote then and I don’t think they wanted me in the final.

“I wasn’t very good. There were better dancers than me. Now they have the dance-off thing. They’ve sussed a way to control it.”

This series has already been blighted with controversy, with fans accusing judges of “overmarking” Dan Walker to keep him in the competition.

Strictly has also sparked racism claims after Rhys Stephenson landed in the bottom two alongside Ugo Monye last weekend.
