‘Rolly’ Romero maintained his innocence in face of the allegations. He said“Although the allegations against me are totally false and I will prove that through the legal system, I agree that it is in the best interest of everyone involved that I not participate in the upcoming pay-per-view event. After clearing my name I will return to the ring as soon as possible.”

Given this latest development, many casual fans may want to know more about Isaac Cruz.

Who is Isaac Cruz?

Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz is a 23-year-old lightweight contender and the #2 ranked IBF title contender. He faced former champion, Francisco Vargas, in his last fight in June.

Cruz was already in line for a shot against both Davis and Teofimo Lopez. He is a gritty, aggressive, and dirty fighter; the kind that Davis is yet to encounter.

On December 5, expect fireworks, as Cruz will enter this fight with nothing to lose. He will put his heart and soul out in the ring and will not give ‘Tank’ an easy fight. Gervonta Davis, on the other hand, has everything to lose. He will look to quickly dispatch the young Mexican and move on to bigger fights.
