Call of Duty: Vanguard to Introduce Ground-Breaking Changes to the Classic Perk System in Zombies
Treyarch’s world of zombie survival has now become a staple for the Call of Duty franchise. The game mode was originally added as a bonus level in the title World at War, but it soon became a fan favorite. Activision later turned it into a special game mode and introduced the mode in a lot of COD games. Now, 2021’s iteration of Call of Duty Vanguard is going to continue the tradition.
Revealed in the trailers, fans will experience a brand new take on the popular game mode. More reports from the community suggest the perk system and other features will be revamped.

Call of Duty: Vanguard has offered interesting changes to Zombies
It is common knowledge that Sledgehammer Games has developed this year’s Call of Duty title. As per the reports from Gamespot, things aren’t going to remain the same. The perk system of the game mode is going to go through a few crucial changes that will significantly tweak the gaming experience.
Gamers will no longer have to purchase the base perks, as these things will now be free. Instead, players will have to only pay for each upgrade that they wish to invest in. This will definitely make the early rounds of the game a bit easier, but the never-ending horde of zombies will make the later levels increasingly difficult. In addition to this critical change, players will no longer be penalized for getting downed by zombies.
Usually, getting knocked down would remove all the perks from your character. However, in this version of the game, players will retain the base version of the perk and only lose the upgrades.
Pack-a-punch will now cost you a bunch of more points to acquire the upgrades. In place of the base price of 5000 points, players will have to spend an additional 2.500 points to acquire the first upgrade. Thereby making the initial pack-a-punch upgrade costing 7500 points, the second upgrade will cost 15000 and the final third upgrade will carry a price tag of 30,000 points.
How do you feel about these changes?
