When is the 2021 Bake Off final?

All good Bake Offs must come to an end (Picture: Channel 4)

The 2021 series of The Great British Bake Off is past its halfway mark, and it’s been as memorable as ever.

This year we’ve already had some fantastically creative bakes – as well as a few we’ll never be able to unsee – not to mention some impressive vegan baking and the show’s first ever German week.

We’ve also bid a sad farewell to some of this year’s most popular characters – from retired midwife Maggie through to teenager Freya – with just a handful of bakers remaining.

But with the numbers in the tent dwindling, just when is this year’s final?

When is the Bake Off 2021 final?

The date of the Bake Off final has yet to be officially confirmed by Channel 4.

However, we do know that there are 10 weeks in the series, the seventh of which is airing this week.

So on that basis – assuming that there are no breaks in the series – we should be seeing the final of the show on Tuesday November 23.

It’s likely that, like the rest of the series, it will air on Channel 4 at 8pm that night.

Will there be another series of Bake Off in 2022?

There will indeed – in fact applications for the next series are already open.

You can apply for the next series via the show’s official website – or by post, by emailing applyforbakeoff@loveproductions.co.uk or calling 0751 275 4340 to receive an application form in the post.

You can find out via the website which criteria are needed to take part in the series.

However, you’ve only got a few weeks to decide whether or not to share your baking talents with the nation – as applications close at 19.59pm on December 5, 2021.
