Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Reveals His Condition for a WWE Return

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock will break the internet if he returns to WWE. It will be, by far, one of the biggest returns the WWE Universe has seen till date.

However, while the WWE Universe wants this return to happen, ultimately, it boils down to The People’s Champ. Therefore, he shed some clarity on the issue during an interview.

“I don’t know if I have another title run, considering I’m the People’s Champion, but I don’t know if it’s another title run. I think possibly, you know, there might be another match down the road. It would have to make sense.” H/t ComicBook

The fact that he’s banking upon a return that needs to make sense will play a significant role in his potential return.

The People’s Champ has always been keen on ensuring he provides top-notch quality entertainment to his fans. However, in the off-chance that his return fails to have an impact in terms of a feud, storyline, and other factors combined, The Rock may decide against it.

Can Dwayne Johnson commit to a full-time return?

When WWE Megastar John Cena returned, he explained he put all his other schedules on hold. The Invisible Man wanted to be there for all the dates so as not to disappoint any fan who specifically purchased a ticket to watch him perform. Hence, even when he wasn’t on television, he was working dark matches.

Coming to Dwayne Johnson, this doesn’t seem like a possibility. Johnson runs multiple businesses while he’s working on Hollywood projects. He already runs a tight schedule. Among this, it won’t be possible for him to come back as a full-timer.

What he can do is return for one grand PPV, work a match, essentially lose that match, charm the crowd, boost the ratings, and leave again. In fact, Johnson has been very clear about this from the beginning.

Of course, he’s grateful for The Rock and the fame and fans he found as a WWE Superstar. However, right now, he’s got much on his plate to completely put everything on hold.

But, for once, imagine The Most Electrifying Man returns as a full-timer? Oh, the chills!
