Davina McCall issued a warning to those tuning into her Instagram today as she showed off her ‘revolting’ feet following a mishap while walking the dog recently.
The star had been keeping fans updated after she tripped over a root and potentially fractured a bone in her foot, with the limb swelling and bruising to quite the shade of purple.
Returning to share that her foot looked the way it did because it was healing, Davina said in a video on Tuesday: ‘Just warning you of a trigger alert because if you swipe left there is a picture of feet.
‘I know some people don’t massively like feet and these feet do look particularly revolting. They are mine, but they look revolting because they’re on the mend.’
In the next slide, viewers were confronted by her toes, which have been left all sorts of black and bruised, with her foot still looking painfully swollen.
She noted in the caption: ‘I’m really sorry about the second pic x I know it’s gross . But look how much the swelling has gone down!!!! I just have to be super careful I don’t do it again x it feels vulnerable x lots of physio . I was feeling pretty down about it yesterday , but today is a new day . (sic).’
Fans reacted to the injury, sharing their shock and wishing the presenter a speedy recovery…no less so they could stop seeing images of mangled feet on their timeline.
‘Thank goodness you’re head is beautiful 🔥- bruising good, means you’re healing too xx,’ one wrote alongside Davina’s post, as another had their priorities in check: ‘Ouch! At least your toenails look gorgeous!!’
Earlier this month the Big Brother star revealed the injury she landed with while walking the dog.
Explaining she ran down some steps, Davina said she ‘must have tripped on a root or something’ noting her foot ‘hurts so much’.

She previously said on Instagram: ‘I sort of twisted my foot. Anyway I can’t flex it upwards, but I can do a bit of weight-bearing. I think they think that it might be a tiny fracture or a chip off a tiny bone in my foot and some tendons and stuff.
‘So it’s gonna need some physio, no cast needed, and elevation and a bit of cold. You know, just take it a bit easy. No disco dancing for a couple of weeks.’
