Viper versus Viper: WWE star Doudrop targets Randy Orton dream match and wants to win Men’s Royal Rumble

WWE superstar Doudrop is becoming a force to be reckoned with on Raw – but she’s still gunning for some historic goals.
The Scottish grappler, who was known as Viper on the UK independent scene and renamed as Piper Niven in NXT UK before getting her new moniker when she was called up to the red brand with Eva Marie, would love be the first woman to win the Men’s Royal Rumble and she’s also got her sights set on Randy Orton
She exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘ I know they have a pretty hard stance on things, but it’s always been a dream of mine to be the first woman to win the male Rumble. Whether that even comes into fruition or not, we’ll see – but that’s always been a dream of mine… You’ve just gotta hope.’
While the women of WWE have had their own Royal Rumble since 2018, the likes of Beth Phoenix, Chyna, Awesome Kong (Kharma) and Nia Jax have all appeared in the men’s version over the years.
None of them won the bout, and Doudrop thinks she’s got a good chance to do just that if the powers that be are so inclined.
She smiled: ‘I think if anyone can do it, it’s gotta be Doudrop, right? I’d love to be in a Men’s Royal Rumble, and I’d absolutely love to win it. I fancy my chances!’
While that might not seem too likely, she’s also gunning for a match with Randy Orton, as she named him as a dream opponent if she was allowed to mix it up with the men.
‘It’s gotta be Randy,’ she said, referencing the legendary star’s nickname and her own past as she laughed: ‘Me and him have some historic beef over who the real Viper is.’
Orton, a living legend and former world champion, is currently holding the Raw Tag Team Titles as one half of RK-Bro with Riddle, and has enjoyed a fantastic run of late even as he prepares to celebrate two decades since his WWE debut next year.

Doudrop, who attacked Bianca Belair on this week’s episode of Raw to kick start a feud with the EST of WWE, had high praise for both Orton and his tag team partner and their chemistry.
‘I think he’s great, and I’m really enjoying him and Riddle’s tag team together, getting to see a different side of him,’ she added.
‘They’re just so multi-faceted and such good people to learn from.’
*WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
