Scottie Pippen calls Kevin Durant unstoppable
Recently, Pippen was in an interview when he was asked about the Nets. the question was do Brooklyn need the services of Kyrie Irving to win it all. Pippen responded by saying if Harden gets in shape, they can do it all without Kyrie. And his main reason was the dominance of Durant.
Scottie said: “Not if James Harden can get in shape. I’m not going to say they can win without him. He definitely is a guy that can help them. But Kevin Durant right now is an unstoppable player, and we started to see this last year in the playoffs. If he continues on this kind of role and starts to utilize his team a little bit better, I think they can possibly win without him.”

Currently, Durant is one of the leading scorers in the NBA putting up 29.5 points per game. His contribution on the offensive end is unmatched as he is shooting 56% which is the best for his career. While Harden isn’t on his offensive peak, his services as a point guard are on display every night dishing out assists and getting everyone involved.
However, Irving’s impact can’t be ignored. Not only is he a talented scorer but Kyrie is one of the best players in crunch time around the league. He led the Nets in scoring last year and is definitely an important piece to any lineup. Do you agree with Scottie Pippen on this take? Let us know in the comments below.
