Ronan Keating has labeled Travis Scott a ‘scumbag’ after an old video of the rapper performing at a festival resurfaced on social media.

The former Boyzone star made the comments on Twitter following the tragic events at Travis’ Astroworld festival.

Ronan shared a video, reportedly taken in Switzerland in 2015, where Travis can be seen performing at a festival and climbing onto a barrier close to the crowd, a common occurrence at concerts of all genres.

However, the musician suddenly stops performing, and, visibly angry, gestures at a person in the crowd and says ‘Come here, b***h’.

He accuses a concert-goer of trying to steal his shoe, and cries ‘Get that motherf***er, get him’, all the while gesturing for the person in question to come closer to him.

‘You trying to take my shoe? You trying to be a thief?’ he asks.

Travis then points at the person and repeatedly chants ‘F*** him up’ into the microphone.

As security removes the concert-goer, Travis encourages the crowd to boo, and again cries ‘F*** his a*s up’.

Sharing the video, Ronan voiced his disgust by writing: ‘This has to be seen to be believed.

‘Cannot believe human beings allow this [to] happen,’ the singer said.

‘Scumbag.’

Former Westlife star Brian McFadden also shared the tweet and called the rapper a ‘horrible p***k’ and ‘scum’.

The Goosebumps rapper is facing huge scrutiny after eight people were killed and scores injured during a crowd surge at his Astroworld festival in Houston, Texas last weekend.

Jacob Jurinek, 21, John Hilgert, 14, Brianna Rodriguez, 16, Franco Patiño, 21, Axel Acosta, 21, Rudy Peña, 23, Madison Dubiski, 23, and Danish Baig, 27, have been confirmed as the eight victims of the tragedy, with over 300 others injured.

A 22-year-old woman has reportedly shown no brain activity after she was left in a critical condition during the concert.

Travis has stated that he was unaware of the ‘severity’ of the situation until after the show, and reportedly learned of the fatalities while at an after-party at a sports bar, at which point he left the party.

The crowd crush began at around the same time as Travis came on stage at 9.30pm, and he has come under extreme criticism for continuing his performance as unconscious bodies were pulled from the crowd.

Sources allege that Travis, who shares daughter Stormi, three, with Kylie Jenner, did not see the bodies or hear the pleas to stop the performance.

The Sicko Mode rapper, real name Jacques Webster, said he will pay for the funerals of those killed at his concert.

In a statement following the deadly events, the artist said he was ‘absolutely devastated by what took place’.
