“Our Kids Gonna Have Problems” – UFC Legend Khabib Nurmagomedov Says Technology Could Ruin Young Children

Khabib Nurmagomedov is going to go down as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. The Russian fighter retired from the sport in 2020 after a dominant win over Justin Gaethje. He left as the UFC lightweight champion and with a 29-0 record.

Since his retirement, ‘The Eagle’ has kept himself buy in other ways. He has been coaching fighters like Islam Makhachev, is opening performance clubs around the world, and attending various events worldwide. Nurmagomedov was a special guest of honor at the Future Innovation Summit recently. During the event, he was asked about how he envisions creative society.

He said, “I think our kids gonna have problems. Myself, for example, when I grew up, I grew up without phones. Of course, we have a great future too with phones, with all this stuff with technology and we create a lot of stuff too. But we can lose our kids too. We have to be careful with technology and young generation.”

“When people are like 25-30, they understand what’s bad, what’s good. When young guys like 12-15 years old guys, they don’t understand everything. That’s why I think we need to take care of our kids because kids are the future. Why do we work so hard? We work so hard for the young generation, for our kids. We have to invest to our kids. This is what I think,” he added.

Nurmagomedov is already doing something for the younger generation, with footballing icon Clarence Seedorf.
