All Elite Wrestling star Kenny Omega is reportedly being lined up for multiple surgeries due to several issues.
The former AEW World Champion, who lost the title to ‘Hangman’ Adam Page at last weekend’s Full Gear event, is said to be dealing with a number of injury issues and he’s set to take time off to get himself fighting fit.
As reported by Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, he’s said to be suffering problems with his knee, shoulder, abdominal, hernia and more.
Omega will likely undergo multiple surgeries to deal with the health problems, although it’s not clear exactly when he’ll be getting them done.
If he decides to get them at once, Meltzer noted there would likely be significant rehabilitation for him to do, while a return date is difficult to predict.
Although February was mentioned in the report as a potential timeframe, this could be premature given that Omega hasn’t had any surgeries yet.
Meanwhile, his status for the upcoming AAA TripleMania Regia event on December 4 – where he is due to defend the Mega Championship against Hijo Del Vikingo – is unclear.
The report comes after Omega opened up on his health and revealed he’d been dealing with vertigo on and off since 2018, with him having to adjust to the feeling of the ring ‘spinning’ during matches.
Speaking in a video on Dr. Beau Hightower’s YouTube channel, he said: ‘Yeah, it’s been an issue since 2018. I just get really bad vertigo. I get dizzy in the ring. I can’t — the room spins.

‘It’s been a new skill I’ve had to inherit is wrestling in a spinning ring. So to make sure I get that straightened out as much as I can, as often as I can is really paramount for my performances.
‘Yeah, there’s a myriad of issues with professional wrestling and you can work as safely as you can, But you can’t avoid everything. There’s always something that could go wrong.’
After beating Omega for the title at Full Gear, Page looks to have his hands full as Bryan Danielson stepped forward as his next challenger on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
