Lauren Goodger slams ex Charles Drury for announcing split while their baby daughter is ‘seriously ill’ in hospital

LAUREN Goodger has slammed her ex Charles Drury after he announced their split while their baby daughter is “seriously ill” in hospital.

The ex Towie star hit out at the 23-year-old builder after he told fans they had gone their separate ways – four months after the birth of Larose.

Larose contracted a nasty virus and Lauren, 35, said she was ‘seriously ill’

Lauren, 35, penned on Instagram, just hours after Charles’ statement: “I apologise for Charlie talking about our relationship status right now as our daughter is very ill and this is the least of my worries.

“I do not wish to comment on the situation at this time as there is much more to it but my priority is getting my daughter better so if any press wants to run stories please run them about my baby girl which is the most important thing to me right now.”

She concluded her post with another dig at Charles, writing: “Shame I can’t say that about others.”

Earlier, Lauren had taken to her Instagram Stories and shared photos from inside her daughter’s hospital room.

She said she had been through the “hardest two days of my life” after rushing Larose to A&E.

She wrote over the top: “My baby girl has been in hospital for three days so far with a severe illness.

“She caught some sort of virus or infection. I think the bronchitis has come back worse, and it’s been the hardest two days of my life.

“Me and Charles have been with her swapping to be with her, so hard to watch your daughter be in hospital with tubes drips, cannula, especially being held down.”

“She doesn’t understand it’s broken my heart I have slept on a chair well didn’t sleep for 24 hours.

“She’s my world and she is finally on the mend thank you NHS for your help, lovely people what would we do without you.”

Lauren’s announcement came shortly after Charles claimed the couple had split just four months after welcoming their daughter together.

He posted about the shock break-up on Instagram tonight saying the pair had gone “our separate ways”.

Charles wrote: “Only going to post this once, me & Lauren have decided to go our separate ways.

“Things must remain civil for the sake of our daughter, Lauren is great mum so when it comes to Larose we both have her best interest at heart so she will still see us both.”

He added: “Id appreciate if people could stop making themselves busy & putting their 2 pence in as no drama is needed round here .”

He and the former Towie star welcomed their first baby Larose in July this year.

Charles, a builder and amateur football player, and Lauren went public with their romance in October 2020.

After just three weeks, the pair had also already said “I love you” and she moved him into her Essex home.
