Michael Schumacher is regarded as one of the best drivers in Formula One. However, very few people knew the 7-time world champion outside the track. One such person is Sabine Kehm.

Most Formula One drivers would like to keep their life private, so it is no surprise that Schumacher does the same. However, Kehm is among the very few that is part of the German’s entourage.

Kehm was born on December 3rd, 1964 making her 57-year-old. Before she was included in Schumacher’s circle, she interviewed in 1994 at the German Grand Prix.

And, just six years later she became part of Schumacher’s entourage by accepting an offer to come to his press office. And since she has been part of the 7-time world champion’s life. Khem was by the side of the Schumacher family through ups and downs. She saw Michael dominate the sport of Formula One, and even after his ski accident back in 2013, she has been by the family’s side.

Kehm gives an insight about Schumacher really is

Undoubtedly, Schumacher was one of the fiercest drivers on an F1 track. The German was a force to be reckoned with, and always pushed his rivals to the limit, whenever they battled it out on track. But Kehm revealed that Michael was not always competitive, but had to show his rivals that he was the best.

Speaking on the podcast, Beyond the Grid, she said, “Michael has always been a very warm person. But he didn’t want that to be seen to the outside because he felt that would kind of take away something of the competitiveness – at least in the outer perception.”

It is understandable to see why Schumacher didn’t want his rivals to see his other side. Formula One is a competitive sport, so it is no surprise that the 7-time world champion didn’t want to lose this edge over his rivals.
