Jennifer Lopez was on hand at the 2021 American Music Awards to remind you that she will keep shining with every opportunity she gets given.
After Megan Thee Stallion dropped out of her performance with BTS due to ‘an unexpected personal matter’, J-Lo – a three-time AMA winner herself – stepped into the breach with a last-minute pre-recorded performance of new single On My Way.
As she debuted the first single from her upcoming rom-com with Owen Wilson and Maluma, Marry Me, the 52-year-old was very much dressed to fit in with the wedding vibe.
After beginning her performance seated and in a black gown, one quick change later and the star was on the stage in a gorgeous tulle dress complete with headpiece and veil.
The nude dress had a corseted top and ballerina-length skirt with a satin waistband.
J-Lo’s headpiece, which she dramatically removed halfway through the performance, was an eye-catching combination of pastel pink roses and a bejewelled matching veil, sewn onto a practical headband.

She accessorised her outfit with fashionable matching laced boots and a bedazzled silver microphone.
Jennifer’s attire comes hot on the heels of the star revealing that she is open to getting married again, months after rekindling her romance with her former fiancé Ben Affleck.
The singing and acting superstar – who was previously wed to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony – explained in a new interview that she will always believe in ‘happily ever after’.

Asked if she would marry again, she told Today: ‘I don’t know, yeah, I guess. You know me, I’m a romantic. I always have been. I’ve been married a few times. Yeah, I still believe in happily ever after, for sure, 100 percent.’
It would seem that weddings are the current theme with J-Lo as Marry Me sees her superstar character impulsively marry a recently divorced maths teacher (Wilson) after her musician fiancé (Maluma) jilts her at a live concert where they were due to get hitched.
Elsewhere at the AMAs, BTS made history by winning three awards including artist of the year.
