Tom Brady fully supports Odell Beckham Jr’s decision to receive Rams salary in Bitcoin
Last night, Odell Beckham Jr took to social media to announce his decision to receive a part of his LA Rams salary in Bitcoin via the Cash App. He becomes the second athlete after Aaron Rodgers to publicly announce this kind of partnership.
“It’s a NEW ERA & to kick that off I’m hyped to announce that I’m taking my new salary in bitcoin thanks to @CashApp,” Beckham wrote. “To all my fans out there, no matter where u r: Thank you! I’m giving back a total of $1M in BTC [right now] too. Drop your $cashtag w #OBJBTC & follow @CashApp NOW.”

As soon as the Rams player announced his decision, social media was abuzz with chatter all around. Popular social media portal Bleacher Report was amongst the first to spread this topic. The news spread like wildfire and it eventually caught the attention of the GOAT. Brady, a long-time supporter of cryptocurrency shared his happiness and support by commenting, “I’m in on that!”.

Tom Brady had a night to remember against the New York Giants. On Monday, the quarterback completed 30 of 46 passes for 307 yards, scored two touchdowns, and even had an interception. His ball distribution was also on point with four Buccaneers pass-catchers catching six passes on the day.
Wide Receiver Mike Evans also had a brilliant performance. The WR had 73 yards receiving and a touchdown while Rob Gronkowski returned to action after missing time because of a rib ailment and had 71 yards receiving. Jones, on the other hand, threw for 167 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions while completing 23 of his 38 passes. All in all, it was a complete performance by the Tampa Bay side.
