Summer Walker’s new face tattoo has everyone talking, after she inked her boyfriend’s name above her cheekbone.
The R&B star landed a number one album this month with Still Over It, which is jam-packed with heartbreak and fed-up anthems based on her split from ex London on da Track.
However, it seems she has more faith in her romance with LVRD Pharaoh, as she’s got his real name – Larry – tattooed on her face.
Summer, 25, showed off her fresh inking, which is just next to her left eye, on Instagram, with LVRD Pharaoh also getting his girlfriend’s name tattooed above his right eyebrow.
The Girls Need Love singer captioned the snap: ‘Bestfriend’, with singer Erykah Badu commenting: ‘Summer and Larry in love.’
Others though were rather taken aback by the choice.
One comment read: ‘Awww helll to da naw’, while another person said: ‘GIRL YOU DONE LOST YOUR MIND LITERALLY.’
Others suggested Summer would ‘never learn’, after the star discussed her heartbreak on her latest album.
Many of the tracks on Still Over It are specifically written about her relationship with London on da Track, with whom she shares a baby girl and split from shortly after their daughter Princess’s birth.
On the song 4th Baby Mama, Summer sings: ‘How could you make me spend my whole f***ing pregnancy alone?’

However, Summer seemingly hit back at the critics of her new tattoo, writing on Instagram: ‘Moral of the story is (if you listened to my album): Learn from your mistakes, pick yourself up, heal, find happiness, and most importantly move on.
‘It’s funny how life works… I never thought right after experiencing the lowest point in my life I’d be the happiest I ever been in my whole life. God is good.’
Summer is no stranger to dramatic tattoos, as she already has Chinese symbols down the side of her face and extensive inkings on her neck and chest.
