WATCH: Eugenie Bouchard’s Insane Training as She Prepares for Tentative Australian Open 2022 Return

Canadian tennis sensation Eugenie Bouchard, who underwent right-shoulder surgery in June this year, is slowly aiming at making a complete recovery to make an appearance on the WTA tour next year. Bouchard has shared few clips of her training at the gym which was shared by a fan on Twitter.

The Canadian tennis star previously shared an update regarding her shoulder surgery in June. Bouchard took to Instagram and Twitter to update the news to her fans.

I’ve been having pain in my right shoulder since last fall. This past March, I tore my subscapularis in my first round match in Guadalajara. Since then, I have tried every form of conservative treatment and rehab known to man, to no avail. So last week, I pulled the trigger and had arthroscopic surgery”.

Eugenie Bouchard is training hard to stage a comeback next year

In a matter of five months, Bouchard gradually started her rehab as she appeared to be en-route a successful comeback stint on the women’s circuit in 2022.

During the recovery process, the 2014 Wimbledon finalist also donned the commentator’s hat by getting associated with Tennis Channel to analyze the American hard-court summer, including the US Open.

Bouchard enjoys huge fan-following across social media. Her admirers often ask her about the injury status and post videos of her training. During one of the recent interactions, a fan tweeted how boring tennis was without the Canadian‘s presence.

To this, Bouchard commented, “Be back soon!”

Also, Eugenie teamed up with New Balance to launch exclusive active wear for women that goes live on the 1st of December.

All in all, fans await the return of Bouchard as she appears to be making the right steps to be back on a tennis court once again. The Canadian’s last match came at the WTA Monterrey Open, where she lost in the opening match to China’s Zhu Lin.
