When is the next series of Married At First Sight Australia coming to Channel 4?
Married At First Sight Australia season six has taken UK viewers by storm over lockdown, with the reality series becoming their latest binge-watch obsession.
The show, that sees two strangers tie the knot the very first time meet, has been a wild roller-coaster, with the experiment seeing couples falling head over heels (looking at you Cam and Jules) and others crumble apart.
It’s been a wild roller-coaster full of explosive showdowns, tension-filled dinner parties and, of course, a cheating scandal or two – so it’s no surprise then that fans are itching for more, with season six set to wrap up on E4 on Monday.
The series originally aired in 2019 down under, with season seven following last year and season eight of MAFS Australia currently playing out on Aussie screens – that means two more seasons are coming our way here in the UK, with Channel 4 finally confirming when they are set to drop.
When is the next series of Married At First Sight Australia on Channel 4?
Bosses at Channel 4 have confirmed that it won’t be long until we have more MAFS Australia to tuck our teeth into, as season seven is set to air on E4 this summer.
It’s been confirmed that season eight will then follow later this year.
In the meantime, though, fans can get acquainted with MAFS Australia’s previous seasons, as all seasons from one through to six are available to stream on All 4.
We recommend season five, it’s almost as scandalous as Jessika Power and Dan Webb having an affair and secretly plotting to re-enter the experiment together. Almost.
Who is in season seven of Married At First Sight Australia?
Every season new brides and grooms are introduced, meaning season seven will see a brand new batch of newlyweds put together by the experts, before navigating their way through all the experiment’s marriage milestones.
However, season seven brings back a familiar face, as Elizabeth Sobinoff from season six will be making a comeback.
Ready to brush off her failed marriage to Sam Ball, after he cheated on her with Ines Basic, criticised her appearance on their wedding day and left her hanging when the couples moved into their new apartments, Elizabeth is back and ready to marry another total stranger in the hope of finding love once and for all.
This time round she is coupled up with Seb Guilhaus.
When does Married At First Sight Australia season six end on E4?
Married At First Sight Australia season six wraps up on Monday night (March 1) on E4, as the couples reunite to go over their time in the experiment.
They come together for one last dinner party and, boy, are we in for a real ride.
Married At First Sight Australia is available to stream on All 4.
