Inside Ant McPartlin’s cosy cottage for I’m A Celeb – and it’s nowhere near as luxurious as his London mansion

I’M A Celebrity star Ant McPartlin is well used to living in luxury in the lavish mansion he shares with wife Anne-Marie.

However, while filming the show from North Wales, producers have put him up in much more modest accomodation.

The star, 46, has been hunkering down at a cosy cottage while Storm Arwen lashed the castle and forced I’m A Celeb off air.

Pictures he has posted from the short-term let suggest he has very few of the comforts provided back at home in London’s leafy suburbs.

Ant and Dec were pictured setting up a video call to explain what’s been going on since the show last aired, on Friday.

They were seen perched at the end of the star’s breakfast table with a light taped to a box of wicker hampers.

A kitchen cabinet filled with a glasses, a mirror and a brick fireplace were also seen in the shot.

The Geordie pair shared the picture with the caption: “Going on air in 5 mins from our high tech studio .”

Ant and Dec have been broadcasting from the cottage on social media after ITV locked down the castle site amid high winds.

While the show was taken off air and replaced with ‘best bits’ specials they aired “Breakfast bar bulletins” from the pad.

With beige tiling, a clock and a shiny bin in the background, they updated fans with news that they would not be live on ITV.

Some fans enjoyed the change of scene from the castle to an ordinary home, with one writing: “Are you giving us 2 days extra at the end? Even though we’ve loved #antscountrykitchen .”
