DaBaby reportedly never donated to the HIV/Aids charities he met in an apology tour after going on a sickening homophobic rant on stage in July, and many of them have not heard from him since.
The rapper, 29, was subjected to criticism this summer after he took to the stage at Miami’s Rolling Loud Festival and told everyone who ‘didn’t show up today with HIV/Aids, or any of them deadly STDs that’ll make you die in two to three weeks’ to hold up their mobile phone.
He went on: ‘Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d**k in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.’
After initially refusing to apologise, the Levitating rapper was dropped from multiple planned festivals.
He then issued a series of apologies where he said his comments were ‘insensitive’ and acknowledged he needed ‘education on these topics and guidance’.
The rapper then visited a number of HIV/Aids organisations as part of the apology.
However many of these charities have now told The Daily Beast that, following his visit, they never heard from the rapper again, and he never donated any money towards their cause.

The Black Aids Institute told the outlet that while they thought their initial meeting with DaBaby was ‘productive’, nothing else came of the meeting and they have ‘not received any outreach, partnership, or funding from DaBaby’.
They said ‘the onus is now on him’ to convert his ‘misinformation into allyship’ by supporting their charity or any other people of colour-led HIV organisations.
HIV charity the Positive Women’s Network also claim the rapper has not been in contact since and never donated to the charity, but insisted the door would always be open to him.
The Normal Anomaly Initiative echoed these claims, saying it thought their meeting was ‘extremely powerful’ but ‘haven’t heard anything back as an organisation since’, nor has it received a financial contribution.
DaBaby, real name Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, came under fire after his on-stage rant last summer, with stars including Sir Elton John and Dua Lipa – who he secured a number one hit with on the track Levitating – hitting back at his comments.
The musician was also dropped from multiple festivals including Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.

In recent months, and thanks in part to his meetings with the HIV/Aids organisations, the musician has appeared to get his career back on track with a new album and US tour.
