George Kambosos Jr. Gives Jake Paul a Reality Check: ‘He’s in a Tough Fight’
Jake Paul doesn’t appear to be sleeping on his upcoming opponent, Tommy Fury. However, ‘The Problem Child’ has clearly demeaned his opposition and has vowed to claim his fifth professional win easily. Paul’s self-confidence will clearly give him an edge in arguably the toughest test of his boxing career so far.
Still fresh from his win against Teofimo Lopez, George Kambosos Jr., seemed overwhelmed by Jake Paul’s praises. Following the title victory, Kambosos Jr. connected with Paul on a face-time and later detailed the entire interaction in a chat with Helen Yee Sports. Apart from Jake Paul’s next fight, ‘Ferocious’ also talked about how he met ‘The Problem Child’.
George Kambosos Jr. said, “He [Jake Paul] was so excited, obviously I was excited to chat with him. He is a global star, and I gave him a few tips on his fight just believing you know no matter what, because he is in a tough fight as well. And a lot of people are saying that he might not be able to win this fight. Like they were saying with me. But if you believe in yourself, you can achieve everything.”
After beating a social media star, a retired NBA player, and retired MMA champions, Paul will now face WBC champion Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy Fury in a high-voltage clash on December 18 in Florida. It will be his first outing against a professional boxer.

Is Jake Paul getting in some serious danger?
A fight against Tommy Fury will demand a lot from The Problem Child who has been boxing for just three years. Fury is 7-0 as a pro and has been under legendary guidance all his life. Hence, he could be in for a dangerous time in the ring.

With BJ Flores and J-Leon Love by his side, Jake Paul can remain relevant if he gets a win against Tommy Fury. As Tyson Fury is also aligned in the feud, Paul has the chance to grab the entire spotlight. Hence, it can be seen as a high-risk high-reward bout for the 24-year-old.
