Kate Garraway has teased that Piers Morgan didn’t leave any stone unturned in her upcoming episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.
The Good Morning Britain presenter shared insight into what viewers can expect from her hour-long chat with her former colleague, which is set to air on Sunday night, as she spoke to co-host Ben Shephard.
‘He delved all over the place,’ Kate confessed. ‘He delved into my past, exes, career stuff. He has a massive, massive research team.’
A clip then played of Piers asking Kate about her messy car, prompting Kate to confess that her husband Derek Draper once sat on a piece of brie.
‘There’s a lot of fascinating stuff in this interview, not just this!’ she exclaimed.
Kate also added that the interview took hours to film.

‘You do these interviews and they’re very long so I generally don’t know what will be shown,’ she said. ‘I didn’t realise quite how many hours had gone past.’
It was announced in November that Kate will take over from Piers as the host of three new episodes of Life Stories on ITV as part of the channel’s winter line-up.
The 60-minute programmes will see famous faces explore their personal lives and careers.

Speaking about her new role, Kate enthused: ‘I’ve always loved having the chance to talk to people, both on air and off.
‘Everyone has a story to tell and the wonderful thing about this show is that you have the airtime to delve into the areas of guests’ lives that the viewers might not know about already.

‘It’s also a chance to understand more about the bits we do already know about (both good and bad) and hear it in their own words.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
