WWE Legend Provides Massive Update on His Cancer Treatment

Veteran wrestling promoter and legendary commentator, Jim Ross, recently took to his Instagram and updated the world regarding his skin cancer treatment, claiming that it will last for 22 days.

The current AEW commentator talked about his cancer situation in the latest episode of his podcast, where he shed some more light on the tedious schedule for his radiation therapy.

However, JR sounded confident. He is very positive that if everything goes as planned, he might show up on AEW TV sooner than expected.

Appearing on the latest episode of his ‘Grilling JR‘ podcast, the veteran dived deep in his cancer treatment schedule and revealed that he is set for 22 days of radiation therapy.

However, Saturdays and Sundays will be his rest days. Eventually, Good Ol’ JR confessed that the treatment could finish earlier if there were no offs on weekends, but he still believes in his oncologist.

“I’m getting ready for the process of a big week here starting this radiation treatment every day for 22 days, excluding Saturdays and Sundays. I wish they did it on Saturday and Sunday. I would get through it quicker. But I have to do 22 treatments and they do them Monday through Friday. I have a really good oncologist.”

Jim Ross cannot wait to come back

During the podcast, JR admitted he is nervous about his future. However, he believes everything will get better in the end. JR also agrees that this process is more like “a matter of let’s get it started, throw some punches.”

“If all goes on schedule, my last treatment will be on the day of the Dynamite show at Daily’s Place. I’ll have my last treatment that morning, and then hopefully be back on the air that night. That’s the plan.” he said.

We wish all the best to the legend and pray that he and his family get the strength to fight through this difficult time. Hopefully, we hope to see JR sooner on AEW.
