Harry Potter star Jessie Cave has revealed she is expecting her fourth child.

The actor, 34, is best known for playing Lavender Brown in the film franchise of the literary phenomenon.

She has now confirmed that she is expecting her fourth child with Alfie after revealing the news with a sweet snap on Instagram.

The picture, taken in a bathroom mirror, shows Jessie smiling and cradling her bump, looking perfectly content.

Jessie, who also has Donnie, six,Margot, four, and Tenn, one, captioned the post: ‘💘🤰can’t hide this new baby anymore💘🤰’

The actor has been flooded with messages from well-wishers, including from her former Harry Potter co-stars.

Devon Murray, aka Séamus Finnegan – who also recently welcomed a son – wrote: ‘Congratulations Jessie’, while David Thewlis, who played Professor Lupin, said: ‘Goncratulations (sic) Jessie! What a year you’re having.’

Jessie had plenty of other celebrities and friends reaching out to offer their congratulations, including Blue Peter presenter Lindsey Russell, Dead Pixels actress Rose Matafeo and music icon Sophie Ellis Bextor.

While Jessie’s character Lavender didn’t have a major role in the Harry Potter movies – save for a doomed crush on Ron Weasley and a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it death scene – the series’ continued popularity means Jessie is still well-known within the fandom.

Jessie has continued acting, and is due to star in upcoming animated series The Potters, though it has nothing to do with that famous Potter.

As well as acting and directing, since the magical series came to an end in 2011, Jessie has been raising her growing family alongside her partner, comedian Alfie Brown.
