Brooks Koepka Slams the Door on Bryson DeChambeau: ‘There Should Be No Part Two’

Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka finally got an opportunity to settle scores against each other on November 26th. Meanwhile, Koepka managed to thrash DeChambeau and showed his dominance. The 12-hole event ended on the 9th hole itself as Brooks was leading with a score of 4&3.

Meanwhile, Brooks Koepka was dominant throughout The Match that he didn’t allow Bryson to make a comeback. However, the only great thing that happened for DeChambeau was that he won the prize for the longest driver. He smashed a tee shot with over 200 mph of clubhead speed.

So, currently in the Hero World Challenge, both these players are almost on the verge of being paired together. Hence, we could witness “The Match 2” in the final round. But Brooks Koepka doesn’t give all these things much importance.

Brooks Koepka feels he has already settled the scores

After round two of the 2021 Hero World Championship, Koepka finished the event T2 with a score of -10. Moreover, DeChambeau had an excellent day as he carded 64 and became the sole leader. Hence, if they continue with the same momentum on day 3, we could see Bryson and Brooks pairing for the final round.

So, a reporter asked  Koepka that there could be a chance of part 2 of last week’s spanking of Bryson since both these players are very close on the leaderboard.  Koepka said, he has already settled the score, and there is no part 2.

“No, I don’t give any thought to it. And there should be no part two. I have settled it all. I mean, I won the online battle, as he can’t trash talk. And I won the golf event, so it’s 2-0. It’s tough to come back from.”

Hence, Brooks Koepka believes they have already settled the scores, and there is nothing as part two of that thing as such. However, it will be interesting to see the reaction of both these players if they get paired together for the final day.
