The Real Reason Why Fortnite Brought In a Queue System for its Largest Launch

Fortnite has just released Chapter 3 Season 1 of the Battle Royale and it’s already being dubbed one of the biggest launches by Epic. Fans are already wondering about the long queue that is setting players back from trying out this new update. The matchmaking is relatively slow which has got players enraged and the developer team is working hard to resolve this issue.

Fortnite Chapter 3 is causing concerns because of the player queue

Players have been complaining about being stuck in the main menu when trying to load up the game after the Chapter 3 update. Epic Games have already confirmed on their social media sites that this update is receiving the best response as compared to the previous ones. It is great to see that Fortnite is doing great as a game even after four years after its initial launch.

You always impress, Fortnite fam! The team is working hard to deliver a smooth Chapter 3 experience for the millions of players who joined us, by far the most players we’ve ever seen at the launch of a season. https://t.co/abj6uHat2g

When the season update was finally launched on December 5, it came in with a few hiccups, as players were either stuck on their loading screens or were getting kicked out by the servers. This unusual phenomenon can be attributed to the massive surge of players trying to log in at the same time, causing a server overload. While the issue lasted only for 40 minutes, Epic has initiated a queue system where players have to wait as long as 10 minutes in order for their game to load.

One thing that is important for the players to keep in mind is to not exit the game when the screen is being loaded. This will reset their line in the queue and set them back even further in terms of loading time. Nevertheless, Chapter 3 Season 1 might prove to be an exciting season for the fans with new features such as the Spiderman skin and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as ‘The Foundation’. Let’s hope this season is worth the hype that it is getting right now!
