BTS have given ARMYs even more of an insight into their lives as they launched their individual Instagram accounts.

The band members – Jin, Jimin, RM, V, Suga, Jungkook, and J-Hope – have each got their own account on the platform, kicking things off by sharing a few adorable photos each.

Of course, they all racked up millions of followers within a few hours, with V having the most at the time of writing (more than 18million).

At the moment, they’re only following each other and the official BTS account.

Jimin, Jungkook and RM were among those to share sweet photos from their tour as some of their first snaps on their grids.

While Suga kept things a bit more abstract, only posting a snap of a red square on his account, and Jin has shared more shots from his life, V already has fans cracking up with his, erm, artistic shots of his dog Tan.

Because really, what better use of Instagram is there?

The band might be planning to share more online content with fans amid their ‘extended period of rest’, which they announced this week.

It’s the first time the stars have taken a break since 2019, with them taking some time to recharge shortly after they returned to the stage.

They said in a statement: ‘Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We would like to inform you that BTS is planning to take a second official extended period of rest since their first in 2019 after they complete their official scheduled events of BTS Permission To Dance On Stage- LA and the 2021 Jingle Ball Tour.

‘BTS stayed active in order to engage with fans in 2020 and 2021 amidst the Covid-19 situation, and achieved dazzling results to cement themselves as top global artists.’

It continued: ‘This period of rest will provide the members of BTS who have tirelessly committed themselves to their activities, a chance to get re-inspired and recharge with creative energy. It will also be the first time for them since their debut to spend the holiday season with their families.

‘We kindly ask once again that you show consideration for their need to enjoy ordinary and free, everyday lives while solely concentrating on themselves, albeit for a short while, during their period of rest.’

More: K-Pop

The agency confirmed BTS will be preparing for an upcoming concert in March ‘to connect and communicate with the fans in-person in Seoul’, as well as the release of a new album that will ‘mark the beginning of a “new chapter”.

BigHit continued: ‘We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the fans who continue to cheer for BTS and they will return as their best, healthiest selves after recharging so they can return all the love from the fans. Thank you.’

Safe to say, they deserve it.

The K-Pop heroes have continued to smash records, most recently winning artist of the year at the American Music Awards, and just performed their first in-person concert in two years to a crowd of 70,000 fans.
