‘Either Take Your Money and F*** Off or Fight the Man’: Tyson Fury Responds to Anthony Joshua’s Step Aside Offer

WBC champion Tyson Fury may have to sit out of action until the heavyweight division comes up with a clear picture of mandataries and potential challengers. Dillian Whyte doesn’t seem to fulfill all the credentials required to step up against Fury as a WBC mandatory anytime soon. Meanwhile, the re-match between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk for the unified titles is also up in the air.

Joshua is now considering stepping aside and letting Oleksandr Usyk face Tyson Fury in an undisputed title fight. However, it is still not official. AJ will demand a big payday to step aside, and that has put the entire title race to hold. Fury seems vexed with all of it and has delivered harsh advice to Joshua regarding the entire situation.

In a chat with IFL TV, Tyson Fury said, “I said I am not gonna give an opinion on that because he will end up seeing the interview and not wanting to step aside. So, I want him to step aside so I can absolutely batter Oleksandr Usyk. But if he does, he does. If he doesn’t, he doesn’t.”

“But one thing I will say is get the f*** on with it. Either take your money and f*** off or fight the man. Either way, One or the other.”

Following a lopsided defeat against Usyk in September, Joshua has lost his rights to a potential blockbuster bout against WBC titlist Tyson Fury. In less than two years, he has contracted 2 losses in his pro-career, which was once considered one of the best-undefeated resumes in the existing roster. Hence, AJ needs to make a quick move to resurrect his career inflow.

Can Tyson Fury affect Anthony Joshua’s decision?

Unless Anthony Joshua regains his belts against Oleksandr Usyk, he won’t be in a position to make calls. However, stepping aside from the rematch will let him look into other matchups. However, that will put him even farther from the title race and a potential shot at Tyson Fury.

Well, Fury is currently making the decision of his career pretty brilliantly. Following two wins against Deontay Wilder in a row, he is undoubtedly the kingpin of his division now.

While he also looks favorable to defeat Usyk and Joshua in potential fights. Therefore, ‘The Gypsy King’ can relax at the time and see how the division plays out before he finally returns to action.

Therefore, while Joshua has the right to make his decision, external factors, including Fury’s remarks, might force him to make the decision quickly.
