How to unlock SECRET iPhone menu with hidden features by typing a code

A SECRET menu hidden from sight on the iPhone has been uncovered.

The clever hack reveals deep details about your phone’s network service that you can’t find elsewhere.

TikTok user howfinity exposed the top tip which features a “tonne of options” including a useful snoop at your phone’s true signal strength.

“There’s a secret menu on every iPhone, let me show you how to access it,” he teases.

You can uncover the hidden menu by opening the phone calling option.

From there, dial *3001#12345#* and hit the call button.

Hit the call button and a special dashboard should appear, with bunch of technical info.

But the one you want to take a look at is called LTE RSRP, which stands for Reference Signal Received Power.

This shows your signal strength.


According to howfinity, it goes from -140 to -40, and the closer you are to -40 the better.

This is actually the data used to determine your signal bar.

Generally speaking, most of the other features are aimed at techies and are pretty useless to every day users.

In fact, the so-called Field Test Mode has been lurking under the bonnet for years.

Android owners can find theirs by going to Settings > About phone > Status > SIM status > Signal Strength.
