Tom Brady Destroys Skip Bayless: Pat McAfee Breaks Down the Latest Episode of ‘Man in the Arena’

Tom Brady was recently seen on the screen again staring at his latest episode of Man in the Arena. In episode 4 of the docuseries, Brady has talked about his fourth appearance in the Super Bowl, which was his first loss in the final as well. 

That loss was also the most horrendous loss the GOAT has ever faced in his entire 21-year career in the NFL till now. The 2007 season was supposed to be groundbreaking for the Patriots and especially for Tom Brady in more than one way. The Patriots reached the Super Bowl XLII unbeaten to face the Wildcard team New York Giants led by Eli Manning.

The stakes couldn’t be any higher as winning the Super Bowl would have gotten them a perfect season. It also would have been a four out of four Super Bowl record for Brady as well. However, losing to the Giants was the biggest shock received by Brady which haunts him to this day.

Although this is not the only thing Brady talked about in this episode of Man in the Arena. He also mentioned how reporters and analysts used to criticize him and his team for his plays. And he proved them wrong every time. However, the most prominent analyst in the show was Skip Bayless who appeared in the episode ’20 times’.

“Skip Bayless was in Man in the Arena last night 20 times,” McAfee said. “He was wrong every time. I mean he might have been the guy that made Tom Brady develop this Man in the Arena mantra. Honestly.”

“The Man in the Arena is a big quote about ‘Those M*ther f*ckers aren’t in there don’t have any idea what they’re doing. The naysayers, the people that talk about you the people who’ve never been in there could never understand what you have to go through to get to this point’. I don’t know the exact quote but that’s kinda what it is.”

“Tom Brady has talked about it a couple of times in his ‘Man in the Arena’. Oh, they’re saying this they’re saying that. And then they’re running clips of Skip Bayless. Wrong! I mean a lot. I’m like Holy sh*t this dude’s been wrong a long time. I completely forgot about him in 2005 and 2006.”

Brady replies to Skip Bayless

This happens to be true, Skip Bayless used to criticize Tom Brady early on in his career. Unlike now when he seems to be a big fan of him. But back then he used to scrutinize almost every aspect of his play. According to McAfee, this is exactly the narrative has highlighted throughout the series. Showing that being inside the arena is a completely different thing. 

The show has displayed how Skip Bayless has been wronged every time he has criticized Tom Brady. The episode was just a perfect answer to Skip for his scornful remarks.
