I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2021 star Simon Gregson has admitted he didn’t have as much fun during the Cyclone as his co-stars, describing the experience as ‘horrific’.

Tonight, one of the most highly-anticipated trials returned to the ITV programme, as the remaining four stars Simon, Frankie Bridge, David Ginola and Danny Miller took on the treacherous Cyclone.

The group had to work as team to place their extra large stars on spots scattered on the specially-made apparatus – all the while trying to remain in place as huge gushes of water knocked them over and resulted in them sliding back to the beginning.

When they completed the challenge and won four stars, former Saturdays singer Frankie said it was the ‘best thing I’ve ever done’, adding: ‘I’m so glad that we got to do it.’

However, Simon’s take on the trial couldn’t have been more different.

While looking back on the challenge, the Coronation Street star said: ‘It was horrific for me.’

The 47-year-old continued: ‘I am ridiculously unfit. At one point I thought I was dying.’

He explained that he doesn’t believe he is ‘built for speed’, as he thinks he is instead ‘built for comfort’.

‘My wife is a fan of Winnie the Pooh and so married one,’ he added. That’s pretty cute, can’t lie.

Nonetheless, he and his campmates did a stellar job to achieve four stars!

When the four celebrities overcame the Cyclone, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly admitted that they weren’t sure whether they would succeed in time.

As they celebrated their achievement, Dec described the feat in French, stating: ‘Formidable, manifique, extraordinaire!’

‘I didn’t think you were going to do it at one point,’ Ant remarked, as Frankie replied: ‘Neither did we.’

David also admitted that he had doubts, telling everyone: ‘I thought we were done, right from the start.’
