WWE Superstar Shoots on Julianna Pena for Controversial Motherhood Comments After Defeating Amanda Nunes at UFC 269
Whether one is a champion or not depends truly on the fans. But, sometimes fighters and wrestlers give their two cents on who the real champion is. Some of them are Shayna Baszler and Julianna Pena.
According to Julianna Pena, she should be the real “mom” champ considering she won a match after giving birth to her daughter. Now, she did admit that Amanda Nunes is a great mother. However, it didn’t make her the mom champ. Possibly hinting at the fact that Nunes did not give birth to her daughter.

Amanda Nunes welcomed her daughter with wife, Nina Ansaroff, when Ansaroff gave birth to their daughter, Reagan Ann Nunes on September 24th, 2020. The fact that Pena dismissed Nunes’ achievement as a mom champ just because she didn’t give birth wasn’t appreciated by many.
One such is WWE Superstar Shayna Baszler. She called out the comment made by Julianna Pena. And, claimed that her comment is why she would never be a role model!

Not only did Baszler find the comment unnecessary and degrading, so did many fans.
WWE Superstar Becky Lynch was in a similar situation as Julianna Pena
This is a good time to remember that Becky Lynch returned to WWE after giving birth to her daughter and defeated Bianca Belair. Belair is a stepmother to Montez Ford’s children.
But, all the digs Lynch took at Belair were related to The EST of WWE’s capabilities and capacities in the ring and not at motherhood.

Shayna Baszler is trying to defeat a mother in WWE
Currently, Baszler is in a storyline involving Sonya Deville, Natalya, and Naomi.
Naomi, who is the stepmother to Jimmy Usos’s children, has put a target on WWE Official Sonya Deville for not giving her a match. Shayna Baszler is acting as one of Deville’s pawns in the game, and protecting Deville from Naomi.
Their last confrontation was on WWE SmackDown: December 10th, 2021 when Deville entered the ring to dig Naomi. However, Baszler and Natalya had her covered from two sides. This is when Xia Li made her SmackDown debut and came to Naomi’s aid.
