Popular Cereal Company Pays Stylish Tribute to ‘Sports Icon’ Michael Jordan on 100th Anniversary

Wheaties is the face of the cereal industry and they celebrate 100 years this year. They are particularly famous for featuring prominent athletes and catchy taglines. As the brand is celebrating its 100th anniversary, they have decided to honor Michael Jordan during their centenary celebrations.

Michael Jordan has featured the most for Wheaties with 18 features closely followed by Tiger Woods, who has featured 14 times.

Wheaties honors Michael Jordan:

Wheaties pays a special tribute to Michael Jordan by featuring him for a historic 19th time. The brand also joins forces with 23XI Racing, co-owned by Jordan and Denny Hamlin.

For @wheaties 100th anniversary, the brand is paying tribute to sports icon Michael Jordan, who is featured on the box for a historic 19th time as part of a year-long commemorative celebration.

Jordan will be recognized on two limited-edition, 100th-anniversary boxes: an iconic orange box and a new collector’s Gold Foil Box that debuts on December 14, 2021. Jordan has been the face of the Wheaties for a long time now and it is only fair the iconic brand honors him for his services.

Jordan and 23XI Racing:

Michael Jordan increased his incredible business portfolio by becoming a co-owner for a NASCAR team. NBA legend Michael Jordan and three-time Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin partnered to launch 23XI in 2020.

Bubba Wallace represents 23XI as a driver in NASCAR. Wallace mentioned how he was a longtime fan of Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. Darrell Wallace, popularly known as Bubba Wallace is the only full-time Black driver in NASCAR. Jordan is the first Black principal owner of a team in the modern era, since Wendell Scott nearly 50 years ago.

Michael Jordan is competitive in all fields of life including his venture with Hamlin. Jordan has entered the industry with the aim to win. Jordan mentioned, “I don’t want to lose. Everybody’s going to look at Michael Jordan getting involved in the sport. But the first thing they’re going to say is that he wants to win, which isn’t false.”
