‘I’m Begging You Tyron Woodley!’- Justin Gaethje Sends Tyron Woodley a Message Right Before Jake Paul Fight

Tyron Woodley vs Jake Paul 2 is almost upon us and fans from both the MMA and boxing fraternity have gathered to watch this spectacle. Chiefly, both men engaged in a battle back in August and it was Jake Paul who walked away as the victor. ‘The Problem Child’ secured the split decision win and now both men will run it back again.

Chiefly, Woodley has stepped in on short notice for Tommy Fury who pulled out of his scheduled bout with Paul. Now, the entire MMA community wants the former five-time UFC champion to pull out all the stops and knockout Jake Paul. In fact, Justin Gaethje took to social media and posted a short clip making a plea to Woodley to chase the finish.

“I’m begging you Tyron Woodley, knock this fool down at least once. Please!”

Will Tyron Woodley be hesitant to throw his hands?

A sizeable concern fans have about Tyron Woodley at this stage in his career revolves around his inability to let go of his hands. ‘The Chosen One’ became hesitant to show off his once-aggressive fighting style, and he would often avoid unloading combinations. This cost him dearly towards the end of his MMA career as he lost four fights in a row.

Justin Gaethje’s passionate plea to ensure Tyron Woodley stays active on the feet comes from a place of concern. In his boxing debut against Jake Paul at the Rocket Mortgage Arena, Woodley was once again timid. However, he did have moments of aggressive intent which nearly led him to scoring a knockdown.

A clear-cut loss for Tyron Woodley against Jake Paul could be detrimental to his overall combat sports legacy. Much like Ben Askren’s late-career run, having a brutal stoppage loss to ‘The Problem Child’ will likely not age well. As the countdown to the match-up begins, fans hope to see Woodley come in with a fiery intent.
