VIDEO: Derrick Lewis Gets Caught by Cops- Records Himself and Blames Chris Daukaus for Hilarious Interaction

UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis is arguably one of the funniest fighters who actively competes in MMA today. Once again, ‘The Black Beast’ reminded fans why he’s able to tickle everyone’s funny bone with a video he recently shared.

Chiefly, Derrick Lewis was pulled over by a police officer just days after he knocked out a former cop in Chris Daukaus. Lewis filmed the interaction with the police officer and ended up blaming Daukaus for getting him pulled over. He went on to say he is 2-0 over Daukaus, reminding the young prospect of the recent knockout he scored over him.

“Alright Chris Daukaus, I’m still 2-0. He just gave me a warning. You tried it.”

The video is obviously made in jest and perfectly captures the way Lewis likes to troll his opponents. Fans have gotten used to the way he jokes around and his interviews have become highly anticipated across the sport.

Not to mention, he’s known to drop one-liners in the cage and also has a hilarious segment on Instagram called ‘He’s ok’. The segment sees him post a video of someone getting seriously injured, usually performing a stunt and Lewis simply playing it off with the caption ‘He’s ok’.

Derrick Lewis: UFC’s undisputed KO king

‘The Black Beast’ recently picked up the distinction of being the undisputed knockout king of the UFC with his win over Chris Daukaus. He stopped Daukaus in round one via KO and now has 13 knockouts in the promotion. Heading into the fight, he was tied with Vitor Belfort and Matt Brown at 12, now making him the undisputed king.

Not to mention, he’s now back in the running for a title shot despite losing to Ciryl Gane at UFC 265. Lewis has shown that he’s more than capable of being an ace fighter and even holds a win over Francis Ngannou.

Lewis could possibly face Stipe Miocic next and will want another crack at the undisputed title if he can come out on top. However, going against the heavyweight GOAT and coming out on top will be easier said than done.
