Coming to tennis, Serena Williams pulled out of the Australian Open next year as she was not fully match-fit. The 23-time major champion suffered a hamstring injury during her first-round match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the first-round at Wimbledon.

Serena fell on Center Court and was forced to retire from the match. Since then, Serena didn’t play the US Open and sat out the rest of the WTA tour. On the other hand, Venus Williams might also opt out of the playing in Australia as she was not handed a wild-card to play the ‘happy slam’.
