Patrick Mouratoglou is undoubtedly regarded as one of the most successful tennis coaches in the history of tennis. Serena Williams has resoundingly lifted 23 Grand Slam titles under the leadership of Mouratoglou. Recently, the Frenchman shared his life journey from aspiring to be a tennis professional to becoming a coach.
Mouratoglou feels tennis saved his life. Holding the racket in his hand felt very confident for the Frenchman. Tennis players like Serena Williams, Holger Rune, and many others paid their respect to Mouratoglou’s post.

The famous coach, Patrick Mouratoglou’s life has been full of ups and downs. Since childhood, Mouratoglou wanted to become a professional tennis player. He tackled all the medical conditions he had been facing and discovered tennis.
Mouratoglou quoted, “Then I discovered tennis. For the first time, I found a place the tennis court I felt comfortable, I felt powerful, I felt good at something, I felt like I was worth something. Tennis saved my life. Thanks to tennis, Being so passionate about it, I turned my life around and became a very good junior player in France.”
Due to parents’ pressure, he couldn’t continue his dream of turning into a professional athlete. However, Mouratoglou worked hard towards his goal and founded the Mouratoglou Academy in 1996 and then became a tennis coach.

In addition, the Frenchman stated, ” Fast forward 25 years, I have guided many pro players to reach their goals, scouted several of the world’s top tennis prospects, opened multiple tennis center, and coached the Greatest player of all times, Serena Williams, for the last 10 years.”
Soon after, Serena Williams took to Instagram to respond with a strong reply. The American wrote, ” I love this!!!! Let’s get back out there.” It seems like Williams is truly inspired by the remarkable story of her coach and wants to get back on the tour soon.
