Easy iPhone hack makes your battery last even longer – see how it works

APPS are one of the biggest drains on your phone’s battery.

One of the reasons for this is because some continue to work in the background even when you’re not using them.

Stop apps sucking up battery in the background

Fortunately batteries are getting better and technology is becoming more intelligent to manage power.

But there are some ways you can take matters into your own hands.

TikToker Kadama has revealed to his 1.9million followers how it’s done on iPhone – and it’s very easy to do yourself.

All you have to do is open Settings and select General.

From there, find Background app refresh.

Then tap Off.

After this, go back to the main Settings menu and choose Battery.

Select Battery health, before switching Optimised Battery Charging on.

“Now your battery will last much longer,” the TikTok star says.

It will at least prevent apps sucking up the juice anyway.

Of course, that’s not the only way you can save precious power.

Other TikTok stars have shared even more simple tricks to optimise battery.

Don’t forget to switch Optimised Battery Charging off at the end
