Xbox Counters PlayStation’s Massive VR Reveal With Bizarre Nail Polish Launch

Users must have never imagined a possible collaboration between a nail polish company with a gaming entity. Well, this is now a reality as OPI has just announced its Xbox inspired nail polish soon after PlayStation’s VR 2 announcement. Furthermore, this nail polish will also unlock some exclusive in-game content for Halo: Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 fans. This is a very bizarre and incredible deal to come up with and is one of the co-marketing initiatives of Halo: Infinite.

Xbox announces collaboration with OPI to bring a brand new form of nail polishes

Xbox’s latest collaboration with leading nail polish brand OPI plans to bring a gaming-inspired color palette for the gamers. The aim of this initiative is for users to express their creativity and play using nail art.

The collaboration will bring 12 hues, bringing into life the popular colors of the Gamepass. The nail paints also have some catchy gaming phrases associated with them such as GelColor, Infinite Shine, Nail Lacquer, and Powder Perfection.

The price range of these nail paints is from $10.50 to $13 each. The polishes will be available exclusively in the USA at Ulta Beauty. The global availability will boost up for the other retailers from February 1st. The redeemable content for Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 will also go live at the same time.

According to the terms and conditions of OPI, players will have to make a minimum purchase of $20 in order to qualify for Forza Horizon 5’s redeemable products. They can earn new paint jobs and claim their rewards before March 31st by submitting their claim on the entry page.

This is certainly an interesting collaboration to attract gamers and sell nail polishes!
