“Roast Me”: USWNT Star Alex Morgan Makes a Surprising Request to Wendy’s on Twitter

Being an incredible soccer player, everybody loves Alex Morgan. She is one of the best players in USWNT history and is all set to start playing for her new club, the San Diego Wave. Not to mention, it is her hometown, and she wishes to retire there.

Over the years, she has emerged as an inspiration for many younger players. Probably that’s why fast food giants, Wendy’s, turned down her request to roast her.

As Morgan issued a challenge to Wendy’s, the mega fast-food chain simply left her alone.

The famous fast-food chain, Wendy’s, took over Twitter on #NationalRoastDay with their ‘roast me’ challenge. In light-hearted banter, they roasted many who requested for the same. However, Alex Morgan escaped the famous roast by Wendy’s. Morgan responded to their challenge by replying ‘Roast me, redhead’. However, Wendy’s delivered an epic response to Morgan, showcasing their sense of respect for the talented soccer player.

The incredible soccer player is one of the most respected superstars out there. Thus, Wendy’s refrained from roasting the icon. Out of all the roasts ushered to people, she got the one with the least trouble.

Currently, Morgan is preparing herself for the new campaign to start. Bringing a trophy to her hometown club is on her agenda and being in San Diego may help her cause.
