Xbox Shakes Up the Gaming Community With Stunning Activision Blizzard Announcement
Xbox announced a major news on Tuesday, as Microsoft is set to acquire Activision Blizzard, the publisher behind Call of Duty, Overwatch, Warcraft, and many more.
The unexpected announcement came from the official Twitter account of Xbox. The talented team of Phil Spencer will soon welcome the renowned creators of iconic Activision titles such as as Tony Hawk, Spyro, and Crash Bandicoot.

It’s officially Xbox x Activision!
According to the Xbox team, it is currently on the quest of spreading “joy and community” of video games, to everyone across the globe. And pursuing that mission, even further, Microsoft is soon going to acquire Activision Blizzard.
However, until the complete transaction is done, Activision Blizzard will continue working as an independent firm. Following a full completion of the deal, Activision will report to Xbox’s CEO regarding all its operations.
This is a big news for gamers, mostly those who use Xbox Game Pass on their consoles and PCs. Because Xbox has confirmed that it will offer as many new titles as possible after the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. The latter already has a huge catalog of some of the most popular games like Call of Duty, Overwatch, Warcraft, and Crash Bandicoot.
Following the deal with Microsoft, all the upcoming releases of Activision may end up being exclusive to Xbox, along with PC. Not to mention the yet unannounced Call of Duty 2022 installment.
