Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins Name Drop John Cena and Jon Moxley on WWE SmackDown: “Just Like Me and Mox Did in the Shield”

The latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with the ‘Head of the Table’ Roman Reigns. Recently, he successfully surpassed Brock Lesnar to be the longest reigning Universal Champion.

Recently, the Bloodline appeared in the ring to celebrate Reigns’ achievement. However, Seth “Freakin” Rollins crashed Reigns’ joyful moments. Seth Rollins clearly mocked Reigns for his big achievement as the longest reigning Universal Champion.

Seth Rollins made a clear move, mentioning The Usos who helped Reigns defend his title. To everyone’s surprise, Rollins mentioned former AEW Champion and former Shield member Jon Moxley.

Rollins added, “Everything you do possible, there are the ones who hold you up. Just like me and Mox[Moxley] did in The Shield. The Usos are your pedestal. So, let’s have a celebration for the Usos.” 

However, The Tribal Chief applauded Rollins for his promo. Eventually, he compared Rollins’ promo to John Cena. Reigns added, “Little brother, Little brother. You come out here and you make all the same stuff excuses. Did John Cena write the promo for you, huh? “

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins had a heated talk of words where Rollins mocked Reigns for having his brothers ally him to his aid.

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns put forward their stipulation

Seth Rollins played his tricks to assure the Usos are banned from the ringside at the Royal Rumble PPV. However, Roman Reigns assured Rollins that they will have a fair match.

But Rollins put forth a new stipulation. He challenged the Usos in a tag team match. According to the Monday Night Messiah’s stipulation, if he wins the tag team match against the Uso brothers, it will ban them from ringside. Surprisingly, Kevin Owens showed up teaming with Rollins.

Although Roman Reigns accepted this stipulation, Reigns added his condition. He mentioned if Seth Rollins failed to win the match, he shall forget his match at the Royal Rumble PPV. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns played their tricks to have an upper hand in their upcoming match.
