Frankie Bridge was ‘nervous’ to join Loose Women following ‘rift’ rumours: ‘I read about all these feuds’

Loose Women star Frankie Bridge was a little apprehensive to be part of the panel after a string of ‘feud’ rumours came to light.
The former The Saturdays star made her debut on the popular daytime programme, which features a number of rotating presenters including the 33-year-old singer.
Earlier this month, bosses denied claims that the hosts were refusing to work with Coleen Nolan, after her agent called Nadia Sawalha a ‘nasty witch’ on Twitter.
Speaking to Fabulous magazine, Frankie expressed how she wasn’t aware of any behind the scenes drama and branded the claims a ‘real shame’.
‘When I first went on the show, I was nervous because I’ve read about all these feuds,’ she said.
‘I think it’s sad that this doesn’t happen on something like A League Of Their Own with a group of men. It’s just not mentioned.

‘I get on [with everyone]. There’s not one person that I would say, “don’t put me on with them.”
‘Even during a heated debate on the show, during the break everyone’s fine. So I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve just never experienced it. I get on really well with Coleen.’
A rep has since told Metro.co.uk that reports of the hosts not wanting to present with Coleen are ‘untrue’, adding: ‘Panellists are chosen for each show by the Loose Women Editor and senior production team, not the panellists themselves.’
The 56-year-old TV personality addressed the claims on Twitter and said: ‘Nothing printed in The Mail article today is true & I am taking legal advice about the slurs on me personally. We’ll also be addressing it on @loosewomen. Thanks for your support. Love Coleen xx’
Since then co-stars Stacey Solomon, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards have publicly supported their colleague on social media.
Janet tweeted: ‘I love working with Coleen Nolan and we’ve never had a single disagreement- sorry if that’s not ‘news’ xx.’
