How Did Sasha Banks Return from Injury So Soon?

“The Boss” Sasha Banks has been out of ring action for over four weeks. However, WWE has announced that Sasha Banks is back on SmackDown and ready for The Premium Live Event – Royal Rumble. 

In the live event held on January 2, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair went head to head inside the ring with Sasha Banks. The former Women’s Champion suffered from an injury during this match in North Carolina.

As per PWInsider.com, Bank’s leg planted awkwardly while taking a backbreaker from ‘The Queen’. She was helped out of the ring by WWE officials after Charlotte Flair retained her SmackDown Women’s title.

WWE’s medics checked her thoroughly to realize there was no fractured bone. Though, to be sure, Sasha went through an MRI scan to realize that she had a bruised calcaneus bone. She was undergoing physical therapy and recovering at home. However, Fightful Select reported that Sasha Banks is ahead of the 6-8 weeks timetable that was announced when she was injured. They were told by WWE creative that since Banks was injured; it was not clear if she was going to be a part of the Royal Rumble.

The Boss Sasha Banks returned to SmackDown

Sasha Banks, who returned during SmackDown’s Charlotte Flair segment, confronted “The Queen” Charlotte Flair and a few other WWE superstars (Shotzi Blackheart, Natalya, Aliyah, and Shayna Baszler).

Sasha Banks announced her entry to the Royal Rumble, establishing that she is ready to fight for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
