The Royal Rumble is hours away with WWE stacking the men’s and women’s matches with an impressive roster of stars.
Current champions, returning legends and Jackass star Johnny Knoxville are among the entrants already announced for the two flagship bouts, which promise big surprises and high stakes.
The winner of the respective 30-man and 30-woman matches will earn a world title shot at WrestleMania 38, so there’s plenty of the line for everyone stepping between the ropes.
Of course, the rest of the card is stacked too, with Hall of Fame couple Edge and Beth Phoenix teaming up to face The Miz and Maryse, while Becky Lynch will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Doudrop.
There’s also the small matter of a first-time dream match between WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and his challenger Bobby Lashley, while Roman Reigns puts his Universal Title on the line against former Shield teammate Seth Rollins.
You can check out our full Royal Rumble preview while we’ve outlined the rules below – and here are the lists of everyone already confirmed by WWE for the two main matches.

What are the Royal Rumble rules?
Pretty simple really – let’s break it down.
Each match has 30 superstars, with two entering at the very beginning, followed by another every 90 seconds until everyone has been involved.
If you’re thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor outside, you’re eliminated from the match – and this can happen at any time, regardless of whether or not all 30 stars have entered yet.

The mystery nature of the bout means no one really knows who’s coming in next, and it’s a night WWE likes to surprise fans with returning or debuting stars.
The last man or woman standing at the end of the respective bouts is declared the winner and will go on to fight for a world championship in a main event bout at WrestleMania 38.
There’s a lot at stake, with former winners including the likes of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, Asuka, Becky Lynch and last year’s duo Edge and Bianca Belair.
WWE Royal Rumble airs Saturday, January 29 at 1am on the WWE Network and BT Sport Box Office.
