Britain’s first transgender parents Hannah and Jake Graf have announced that they’re expecting another baby girl.

In March 2018, Hannah and Jake got married after three years of dating and welcomed their first child via a surrogate mother using Jake’s eggs in April 2020.

During Monday’s edition of Lorriane, the couple shared the joyous news that they’ll be welcoming another addition to the family this summer.

When the 62-year-old presenter asked when the baby will be born, Jake replied: ‘June 1.

‘Our beautiful, amazing, and wonderful surrogate Laura said directly after the first one that she would help us again, and she has, in fact, she’s helped us twice.

‘Back at the beginning of last year we tried again and it ended up being an ectopic pregnancy, which was quite sad for all of us.

‘We pulled back together and went again in September and miraculously we are due to have another little girl on June 1,’ Jake added.

Speaking about the ‘heartbreaking’ ectopic pregnancy – which is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes- Lorraine later highlighted how ‘special’ this moment must be for the pair.

‘It’s very hard knowing our little bump is growing over in Northern Ireland as opposed to here – it’s hard because we can’t touch her or sing to her,’ Jake said.

‘At the time I felt it was awful because I was worried I couldn’t connect with that first child you really worry that you’re not going to form that bond.’

‘But do you know what, we saw Millie in the first few hours of her life and the bond was there immediately,’ Hannah added.

Jake and Hannah welcomed Millie into their lives during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

Jake took to Twitter to say: ‘She’s here!!

‘Our amazing surrogate brought our daughter into the world at 5:30 am Tuesday morning. We couldn’t be happier nor more grateful.’
