Stephen Curry is now a household name for any NBA fanatic. Since his arrival, the Baby Face Assassin changed the game and continues to reach new heights. As the saying goes, greatness recognizes greatness, when it came to Curry, Kobe Bryant knew that sharpshooter was a deadly one. And he even revealed the reason why.

While speaking in an interview, Kobe spoke about Steph’s calmness on the court and how that makes him lethal.

Curry is one of the mega stars in the NBA today. Not only is he a big name, but his impact goes way beyond just the NBA. He became the revolutionary to start off the three point era in basketball. Kobe Bryant reveals the reason Stephen Curry is lethal

It was no easy job to earn the respect of the one of the best players to play. Kobe Bryant was not someone who could be easily impressed. Hard work was something the Mamba would look for in a player. In the case of Curry, he has that all day long. However, there is a more subtle quality about him that Kobe thought made him a problem.

Bryant explained: “I see a calmness about him. And I think it’s something that a lot of players don’t understand. So I think it’s very hard for the fans to understand what I’m saying. Because most players don’t get it.” He continued saying, “And when a player has the skills, when he’s trained himself to have the skills to be able to shoot, dribble left, right, etc., and then you mix that with his calmness and poise, and you have a serious, serious problem on your hands.”

It is Curry’s this ability that has helped him in elevating into the greatest shooter of all time. This season is a prime example. Steph broke the all time record and shattered the three point scales. However, in terms of shooting the ball, he hasn’t had a great season. But the Baby Face Assassin keeps on coming and doesn’t stop shooting the ball.

Despite shooting a career low percentage, his confidence in his work outweighs it all. And for any team, leaving a man like him open only spells disaster. He is extremely calm and patient, and when the shot flows in, there is nothing anyone can do to stop Stephen Curry.
