The newly-released and revealing trailer shows Villanelle, in her classic style, divulging: “I killed two people last night after I tried really hard not to,” to which a man replies: “Okay, well, that’s not ideal.”
Then, we see a tense confrontation between Eve and her former lover Villanelle, with the latter desperate to prove how she’s changed.
Eve retorts: “If you’d really changed, you wouldn’t have come here.”
Villanelle, donning a cross necklace while on her knees, replies: “If you’d really changed, you wouldn’t have let me.”
The pair keep going round in circles, but with this being the final season, will their tumultuous relationship come to a fatal end?
Although it might be gutting for fans that the show is coming to an end, actress Jodie Comer feels like it’s definitely the right time.
The 28-year-old recently revealed that she wants the show to conclude “on a good note”, rather than having it outstay its welcome.

She affirmed: “I’m trying not to think about it too much, honestly, it’s sad, you know?
“But I would rather we ended on a good note and kept our integrity, instead of going on and on, and being kicked out the door.”
Killing Eve season 4 premieres on BBC America in the USA on February 27. A UK release date is yet to be announced.
