Amazon Prime Video has released new teaser posters ahead of the latest chapter of The Lord of the Rings, which drops later in 2022.
The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power is thought to be the most expensive TV show ever, and comes to Amazon on September 2.
Despite the premiere being more than half a year away, fans are already buzzing and Amazon has now given more of a sneak peek over what’s to come.
Four new poster pics were put out on the streaming site’s social media channels, as well as a first-look pic of the series.
Although none of the cast can be identified by the pictures, all four posters feature characters wearing very intricate designs, with fans of the franchise already guessing what might be to come.
It comes after a teaser trailer released at the end of January confirmed the release date and title of the highly-anticipated show.

It showed the rings being forged and featured a passage from the books very familiar to dedicated fans of the franchise.
‘Three things for the Elven kings under the sky,’ the voiceover in the clip read.
‘Seven for the dwarf lords in their halls of stone. Nine for mortal men, doomed to die. One for the dark lord, on his dark throne in the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.’
Amazon bought the global rights to a television adaptation of The Lord of the Rings for a whopping $250 million back in 2017.
The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power come to Amazon Prime Video on 2 September.
